Ticket sales will reopen this morning
Silverstone has suspended ticket sales for the 2023 British Grand Prix after system problems caused chaos for fans. Fans trying to purchase tickets yesterday were plagued with tech issues and Silverstone was forced to issue an apology.

In reply to their Facebook post, Tom Watson said: "Been online since 10am waiting, got in twice at 11:45am and 12:30pm, and have absolutely nothing to show for it.At NorthantsLive we're more than just news. A statement on their website previously said: “We’ll be on sale soon. When you’ll need to book fast; our prices will increase based on demand. These prices will automatically refresh every 90 seconds.” The spokesperson added: "Proceeds improve the facilities that are necessary to deliver the infrastructure and level of customer experience which helps us consistently achieve a high fan satisfaction rate.
"Quite simply, the earlier people book event tickets, the lower the price. The wording used briefly on the Silverstone website to explain the web page was refreshed every 90 seconds was misinterpreted by some who understood that prices would increase at these intervals, which is not the case and, as such, has been removed to avoid further confusion."
