Tanaiste Simon Coveney denies Government's policies to tackle homelessness crisis are failing

Mr Coveney was the previous Housing Minister and so the Irish Mirror asked him at a Department of Foreign Affairs policy launch in UCD if the figures were massaged and if he would acknowledge the Government’s housing policy was clearly failing.
“There was never going to be any quick fix to the homelessness crisis that Ireland has, but we are intent on fixing that over time and we’ll continue to invest and prioritise the area until that happens.”
