Britain's Got Talent judges Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell went for lunch together with their families over the weekend, where they were joined by Simon's lookalike son
Britain's Got Talent stars Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden spent the bank holiday weekend together as they dined out with their families. The couples were not alone as they were joined by their children, including Amanda's daughters Alex, 17, and Hollie, 11, as well as Simon and Lauren's son Eric, who is very rarely seen on social media. In the snap, 63 year old Simon stood behind his lookalike son, who has his same dark hair as well as facial features, including his eyes and nose.
Simon and Lauren welcomed nine year old Eric, who is named after the mogul's grandfather who passed away in 1999, back in 2014. In an interview, Simon credited his son's arrival with helping him overhaul his entire outlook on life.“I got to that point where everything was about, ‘If you’re not rating against this then you’re a failure’ and I stopped enjoying what I was doing and I was miserable the whole time.
Simon said his drive for work would force him to come up with “ridiculous ideas like the six-chair challenge” for The X-Factor, which ended in December 2018.“That last year was very much an ego driven thing. We had to be better than everyone else, but I didn’t enjoy it.“If he hadn’t come along, God knows what would have happened.”
