Speaking to reporters in Johannesburg, the Tánaiste said 'there's real alarm and concern across the European Union' about 'some of the rhetoric that we've heard in relation to Ukraine in recent days'
Tánaiste Simon Harris has vowed that "Ireland will support Ukraine for as long as it takes" as he says that any peace deal must involve the war-torn country.
Mr Harris told his fellow foreign ministers that the war must end, but only on the basis of a comprehensive, just and lasting peace. He warned that how we approach this issue will have implications for people in Europe and beyond and vowed that Ireland will support Ukraine for as long as it takes and work with partners to achieve a just and lasting peace.
