The former Munster star and his wife Elvira Fernandez had a second wedding celebration in glorious sunshine surrounded by friends and family.
Ireland rugby favourite Simon Zebo has lifted the lid on his 'incredible' second wedding celebration with with Elvira Fernandez.
“We got married by the ocean and had our nearest and dearest with us. Family came from France, the Caribbean, Spain, Ireland and the UK so everyone was together. It was a really amazing couple of days.”“Our children brought up the rings and offerings and my daughter Sofia sang while my wife walked down the aisle. It was really beautiful and definitely a tear jerker,” the former Munster and Ireland star said.
He said: “My eldest boy, who is nine, and my daughter, who is eight, are very aware. They find it good fun. If I wear a hat or put my head up walking around town when I’m spending time with them they’ll be like, ‘Dad take off your hat everyone wants to see you!’. He said: “The kids love it, so they will follow their father’s footsteps for a little bit anyway. They want to play rugby, but I don’t want them to. I would not push them towards it at all.
Simon made the decision to retire from rugby earlier this year after a 14-year career playing for Munster, Racing 92, and Ireland.
