One of Sinead O’Connor’s final social media posts before her death was about the heartbreaking loss of her son, Shane.In a statement to RTÉ, her family said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinead.Advertisement In the days before her passing, O'Connor took to Twitter to write about her son Shane's death at the age of 17 in“Been living as undead night creature since. He was the love of my life, the lamp of my soul."I am lost in the bardo without him."The singer was born Sinéad Marie Bernadette O’Connor in Dublin on 8 December 1966. She rose to fame in the late '80s with her beloved debut album The Lion and the Cobra.
