It follows news in the Dáil on Wednesday that there are now over 14,200 children with possible disabilities on waiting lists for assessments
Sinn Féin has blasted the HSE ’s "appalling" communication to parents asking if they want to keep their children on Assessment of Need waiting lists.
Claire Kerrane said: "The HSE has communicated with parents who have applied for an Assessment of Need for their child asking that, if they still want to be on the waiting list, they respond to the HSE to confirm this. "The HSE appears to be doing everything but actually dealing with tackling these unacceptable waiting lists.
