Sir Elton John candidly revealed to his fans that he has lost his eyesight during a showing of 'The Devil Wears Prada'. The iconic singer admitted to the audience at London's West End that he can no longer see the performance but enjoyed it.
The iconic singer was at a showing of The Devil Wears Prada in London's West End with his spouse David Furnish when he had to be guided away from the stage by David after he gave a speech to the audience.
Addressing the audience, Sir Elton, who composed the score for the musical, said: "I've lost my eyesight and cannot see the stage." The beloved musician informed his Instagram followers in September that although he was healing from the infection, the recuperation was sluggish, reports the Mirror. "I am so grateful for the excellent team of doctors and nurses and my family, who have taken such good care of me over the last several weeks. I have been quietly spending the summer recuperating at home, and am feeling positive about the progress I have made in my healing and recovery thus far. With love and gratitude."
