Acting icon, Sir Ian McKellen, was rushed to hospital on Monday after falling off the stage during a performance of Player Kings at the Noel Coward Theatre in London
Sir Ian McKellen is in "good spirits" and expected to make a "full recovery" after his terrifying fall while on stage last night.
Updating fans on Sir Ian's health, a spokesperson for the London theatre said: "Following a scan, the brilliant NHS team have assured us that he will make a speedy and full recovery and Ian is in good spirits." Following the shocking accident, the audience was swiftly evacuated from the theatre and informed that the evening's performance would be cancelled.
