Man United takeover bidder Sir Jim Ratcliffe could play an important role in helping the club make a key signing next summer
Sir Jim Ratclifffe could play an important role in helping to make his first major signing at Manchester United, if his takeover bid is successful.
The British billionaire has already gained experience within football as owner of Swiss club Lausanne and French side Nice, paving the way for him to announce his interest in buying the Reds. His pre-existing connections to the sport could help Erik ten Hag address one key area of his side, in particular, next summer.
And the defender has said he wants to be presented with 'the complete project' when assessing his next potential move. “I know what I have at Nice. Why go into the unknown? So, everything must be clear. I was 18 during my first transfer and the thinking was not thorough.”
