When folding mirrors FM1-4 are out of the emission path, detectors C1 and C2 observe the radially and azimuthally polarized image plane. Colourbar: photons; scale bar: 2m. When FM1 and FM3 are in the emission path and mirror M3 is properly aligned, detector C2 captures the radially polarized BFP.
