A further six people have been before Dublin District Court charged with public order offences in relation to incidents in Coolock, Dublin yesterday bringing the total number of people facing charges to 21.

They were also charged with public order offences and released on bail.

The six charged today were Gary Daly, 45, of Burnell Square, Northern Cross, on the Malahide Road who was charged with two public order offences - engaging in threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and failing to comply with the direction of a garda.Alan Dunne, 63, of Bunratty Avenue in Coolock was charged with failing to comply with the direction of a garda.

Tom Printer, 68, of Pairc Mhuire, Newbridge in Co Kildare was charged with the same offence as were Hugh O'Rourke, 55 of Moatview Avenue, Priorswood in Dublin 17 and Edmond Butler, 53, of Holywell Crescent in Donaghmede, Dublin 13. All were granted bail on their own bond of €200 and with the condition that they stay away from the Crown Paints factory on the Malahide Road.Lawyers for Printer, who is retired and partially deaf, told the court that he had left his car at the garda station.

He was given permission to retrieve his car by agreement with gardaí but to stay away from the station after that.
