Howth RNLI assisted in two separate incidents this weekend
People have been urged to remain vigilant around water after two boats suffered malfunctions during the weekend.
Three people were reduced from on board the sailing yacht, which had suffered from engine failure on its passage from Malahide to Howth.A second call by a member of the public about a motorboat in difficulty early this morning was also received by Dublin Coast Guard. The lifeboat towed the vehicle and its occupants safely back to the harbour. Howth Coast Guard was also deployed to assist with the incident.
