Six social welfare schemes have been excluded from the upcoming payment hikes totaling €780 per year as part of Budget 2025. The increases, which will come into effect from January 1, 2025, will see additional €15 per week for Maternity, Adoptive, Paternity, and Parent’s Benefits, while other payments will rise by €12 per week.
