The aesthetician explained: “By the time you have reached 30, you’re starting to see some little visible lines starting to poke through and that’s when you might start considering doing treatments like botox and having more collagen-stimulating type treatments. “In terms of skincare, once you start getting a little bit older and going into your 40s and 50s, you really are starting to lose your natural hyaluronic acid in your skin.” She shares that your skin can reduce the amount of important nutrients it used to produce as you age. Eavanna said: “Our skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid which keeps our skin moist and plump, that’s what we start to lose as we age. “To start introducing more hyaluronic acid once you get into your late 30s and early 40s is a good idea.” She added that people who are experiencing menopause may find that their skin becomes drier than it was before. “There’s lots of different things that you can be introducing, in terms of peptides and hyaluronic acid and your vitamins and minerals. “If you’re getting them into your skin at any age, they’re going to be of benefit but they’re needed more once you start hitting your late 40s and becoming more menopausal.” A popular product which people have been raving about is the CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum, which costs €24.45. Its description says: “The formula works to lock-in moisture on the surface of your skin, alongside improving retention for up to 24 hours. “Fortified with three ceramides, the serum protects against excessive moisture loss. Vitamin B5 provides a soothing effect, while the gel-cream consistency encourages a refreshing sensation”.With 137 reviews, people shared how quickly they noticed a difference in their skin, with an average rating of 4.58 stars. One person said: “Extremely well priced. Love this product. Tried a few different brands of Hyaluronic Acids and this one is my favourite by far.” A second shopper wrote: “This is my second bottle now and I couldn’t be happier. My skin has never looked this good and I only wish I’d tried it sooner. Now using multiple products from this brand…love it!!” A third reviewer added: “Can see the results after just a few months, excellent moisturiser! I won't use anything else now”. Another person commented: “Love this stuff…my skin has never looked or felt this good. Apply morning and night and the difference in my skin is amazing after only a few weeks. Smooth, plumped hydrated what’s not to love”.Join our new WhatsApp community! Click this LINK to receive your daily dose of RSVP Live content.
