Jordan Spieth dragged a shot from the tee of the tenth hole at Troon, prompting an unsavoury outburst, which commentators were forced to apologise for
Jordan Spieth's fit of rage at Royal Troon on Friday left Sky Golf commentators scrambling to apologise after an expletive from the American golfer was accidentally aired.
However, Spieth has been no stranger to mistakes in his current round at Troon, slicing far right onto the railway tracks bordering the tenth hole. Visibly frustrated by his effort while attempting to guard an even score, Spieth crumbled downwards with a tight grip on his driver while yelling: "S***."
Things went from bad to worse for Spieth on the eleventh hole, when he shanked another tee shot out of bounds to force a drop shot. He putted from the fringe of the green for a bogey but ultimately ended up with a double after failing to make the mark, giving him an overall round score of +3 so far.
