Partnership allows Sky to offer full-fibre broadband services by piggybacking on Virgin’s infrastructure
Sky Ireland and Virgin Media have agreed a wholesale access deal that will allow the former to provide full-fibre broadband services to customers in areas that haven’t previously been available.
Commenting on the partnership, JD Buckley, Sky Ireland’s chief executive, said the deal would allow the company to offer customers the “best full fibre service in their area,” by piggybacking on Virgin’s infrastructure.
