Parents who are having difficulty getting their youngsters to settle down at night may want to consider introducing this snack.
It can be a real struggle for parents to get their children into a good sleeping routine with one bad night throwing their balance right off.
To help with this, one sleep expert says there's a tasty snack you can give your children before bedtime could help them fall asleep easier and deeper. The expert explained: "What your child eats close to bedtime can also contribute to whether they have a good or bad night's sleep. Foods such as oat biscuits, bananas and milk contain an amino acid called tryptophan. This makes them feel drowsy and, therefore, more likely to fall asleep."He said: "It's tricky, but try to be firm and let them know that once they are in bed, they must stay in bed.
