A woman has been charged with murder after the discovery of a body in the water off Slieve League in County Donegal.

The body of Robert Wilkin, who was from Northern Ireland, was discovered on July 3rd off the Donegal cliffs after a week-long search operation.

At a special sitting of Letterkenny District Court today, 21-year-old Nikita Burns was charged with his murder.No application for bail was made and she was remanded in custody to appear again next week. Burns is the second person to be charged with the murder after 38-year-old Alan Vial was charged last month with murder and has been remanded in custody.
