Law enforcement is investigating after smash-and-grab thieves targeted multiple cars at two trailheads in Clallam County.

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office said thieves broke out the windows of six cars parked at the Olympic Discovery Trail’s Strait View Drive trailhead on Tuesday.Deputies said Sequim police were called near the Olympic Discovery Trail’s Whitefeather Way trailhead, where two cars were broken into.Law enforcement said thieves look for “unsecured vehicles” and “unfortunately, there are still plenty of unlocked vehicles in our county.
