If you are due to receive a Jobseeker’s payment at your Intreo or social welfare office on Monday, 7 August, you won’t have to sign on that day. In a statement on their website, the Department of Social Protection wrote: "Monday 7 August is a Bank Holiday and as a result most social welfare payments due to be paid on Monday 7 August, will now be paid on Friday 4 August instead.
