In her final round, Maguire finished with a 71, leaving her on eight-under-par and the best-placed of the Irish competitors.Sara Byrne was the top-ranked of the Irish amateur players, finishing tied for 36th on four-under-par. “I knew I had to go low. I had to shoot a nine or ten-under to have any chance today so you had to go for everything. I didn’t come here to finish 20th, I didn’t come here to shoot level par. It was a case of going for everything.
