Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has vowed to make legendary former boss Sir Alex Ferguson proud in Sunday’s semi-final Europa League showdown with Sevilla.

“He is keeping in touch with the team and following us from afar, so let’s make sure we make him proud back there” said Solskjaer. “Defensively we’ve been solid, then we had a period of some fantastic exhilarating attacking football and lately we have been productive in results, not fantastic football but we have been getting results.”He undertook a study of the trophy-winning Spanish side after they knocked Molde out of the Europa League in 2016 before going on to win the trophy, beating Liverpool in the final.
