From a ‘demonic’ killer who stabbed his former partner to death to a family man who was unmasked as a big-time drug lord in Manchester's criminal underworld - these are some of the criminals locked up in Greater Manchester in June.

And when officers later searched his flat in Whiteside Close they uncovered a 'plethora of drugs' worth an estimated £18,600, including 25 grams of cocaine, 287 grams of ketamine, and 123 grams of cannabis as well as MDMA, LSD, and diazepam. Some £2,500 in cash was also found in the flat. The court heard that the gang's activities first came to police attention on October 3 2020, when defendant Andrew Hall, 55, contacted fellow defendants Eneo Zace, 34, and Tedi Hyesani, 28, both Albanian nationals, before collecting cannabis from a farm in St Helens and supplying it to members of the Northern Irish OCG. When the drugs were being transported in Northern Ireland, however, a haybale containing 50kg of the drug fell off a horsebox and was seized by police.
