South Africa's Omicron outbreak slows as expert says population's T-cell immunity against Covid has kept hospitalisations low
Omicron-stricken South Africa today posted another 17,154 Covid infections, a decrease for two-days running. On Thursday however, 22,391 cases were detected - almost double recorded on the previous Thursday.
