South Alabama is set to hire Antonio Bradford as its new running backs coach. Bradford spent last season as the tight ends coach at Austin Peay. Prior to that, he was on staffs at Tennessee State and Alabama State, his alma mater.

Bradford started three seasons at guard at Alabama State in the early 2000s, where he was a teammate of current South Alabama defensive line coach Landius Wilkerson. Bradford replaces Earnest Hill,A Tennessee native, Bradford spent 10 seasons on the coaching staff at Alabama State, rising to associate head coach. He then served as tight ends and tackles coach, as well as run game coordinator, at Tennessee State.
