The event will amplify the voices and stories of South Asian women living in and contributing to Northern Ireland.
Belfast will play host to the inaugural Asian Women's Conference this weekend as part of a series of events celebrating South Asian Heritage Month.
South Asian Heritage Month is a month-long celebration, running from July 18th to August 17th annually, that commemorates the vibrant tapestry of South Asian cultures and traditions. It seeks to shed light on the significant contributions of South Asians who have migrated to Northern Ireland, enriching the region's economic, social and cultural fabric.
Ana Chandran, representing BAWA, says the upcoming Asian Women's Conference will highlight the significance of reclaiming identities and sharing narratives through the SAHM platform. For enquiries and registration details, please contact Ana on 07474651096. To book your tickets click the link here.
