The death toll in Iran is growing as protests spread throughout the country after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who was arrested for allegedly wearing her head scarf too loosely.
On Tuesday evening, hundreds of people chanted, carried signs and made their presence known on Winchester and Stevens Creek Boulevards near Santana Row."I only lived in Iran until I was 7 years old, I've been back to visit," said protestor Mojdeh Croes. "I can't know what it is to live the life of an Iranian woman. I can't imagine what that life would be like.
In Iran, the death toll of demonstrators killed in protests is growing as unrest spreads. Amini was taken into custody two weeks ago by the morality police.
