Officers arrested a man after he reportedly pulled into a person’s driveway and exited his vehicle with a gun during a ‘road rage incident.’Southlake police have arrested a man on a deadly conduct charge in connection to an alleged “road rage incident” where he approached a couple at their house with a gun drawn.
The arrest happened after a reported accident Saturday night involving 44-year-old Adrian Hill, who was ultimately arrested by police, according to a release from the Southlake Police Department. After a dark-colored SUV reportedly struck his family’s vehicle at a stoplight it sped off and Hill followed.
But he lost sight of it after it turned down a residential street, according to police, and instead he pulled into a driveway behind another SUV that he thought had struck his vehicle. Officers have since determined that the SUV in the driveway was not involved in the reported hit and run. Hill allegedly left his vehicle with a gun, according to police, while the man exiting the SUV responded by pulling out a pocket knife. Both Hill and the other man received non-life-threatening injuries in the resulting altercation, during which Hill allegedly fired his gun toward the house and SUV, according to police.Both men were treated at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine. Police are still investigating the incident.
