The event, which is a mainstay in the summer calendar, will see the Red Arrows and a host of other aircraft take to the skies over Southport and will run from July 9 to the 10. Full list of Southport Airshow road closures Marine Drive will be closed to through traffic between Fairway roundabout and the Marine Way roundabout and between Weld Road and Pleasureland roundabout from 7am to 7pm on across both days. To enable a free flow of traffic after the air show from all event car parks, a number of routes will be closed to prevent unnecessary congestion.
