The footballer has refuted claims by the the Spanish football federation president that she agreed to the kiss after Spain’s 1-0 victory over England

Mr Rubiales grabbed Ms Hermoso and kissed her on the lips during an awards ceremony following the team’s 1-0 victory over England.But the midfielder has denied his claims, saying: “I did not like it, but what could I do?”. Some 56 players, including all of Spain’s 23-strong World Cup-winning squad, have also signed a joint statement which pledges they will no longer play any more matches for their country until Mr Rubiales resigns .
