Though she acknowledged that many Irish people find her choice puzzling, she lamented their perception of Spain as a carefree nation, unaware of the struggles faced by some locals.

When Claudia Sebastian left Spain to start a new chapter in Dublin, her decision raised more than a few eyebrows. The Spaniard hoped Ireland would offer better job opportunities and financial prospects, but her move left locals questioning her choice. In a candid TikTok video, Claudia explained her reasoning: “I moved to Dublin because of the money. I came to look for a job because there are more opportunities here and better pay.

” Despite her motives, she admitted that many Irish people struggle to understand why anyone would leave a sunny, vibrant country like Spain for Dublin - a remark that really annoys her, Express reports. She explained: “For them, it’s completely unthinkable to give up a country with wonderful culture, people and climate for a grey and dirty city. That makes me a bit angry because it shows they see Spain as the land of cheap coffee and beer, where people are always happy, without understanding the struggles we face every day.” Claudia believes that many lack awareness of how some locals are struggling in Spain, which is one of the reasons there have been anti-tourist protests in the country this year. She said: “Living here has made me realise that the culture of effort and sacrifice we have in Spain is tied to a completely precarious country, where being able to save is a luxury.
