Police in Gran Canaria have launched a major search for a missing Irish woman who vanished two days ago.
The search for the missing 46-year-old is focusing on the popular Puerto Rico tourist area in the south of Gran Canaria. The Civil Guard force, revealing Nicole’s family had reported her missing, said: “The Civil Guard has launched a coordinated operation to search for and locate a person reported as missing in the area of Puerto Rico. We were alerted to the 46-year-old woman’s disappearance on December 22 by relatives who reported her missing at the Civil Guard station in Puerto Rico.
The force also published a photo of Nicole on an official police missing poster, naming her as Nicole Claire Ryan under the word URGENTE - English for Urgent - in capped-up red letters.
