Grand Prairie residents can bring paper for shredding on Saturday to the city’s annual Shred Day.
Drivers should line up at Lone Star Park, 1000 Lone Star Parkway, in the south part of the parking lot at gate 3. The event will take place from 8 to 11 a.m.
A standard-sized box of paper will cost $5 to shred. Larger boxes will be accepted but could cost more. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Residents can bring secure documents, including checkbooks, for shredding. Large metal clips or binders should be removed first. Cardboard will not be accepted.
