Popovich noncommittal on Spurs’ starters

One thing is certain: He liked what the unit did Tuesday in helping the Spurs gain a 27-point lead in the third quarter before emptying his bench in the fourth period. It was good news for the Spurs, who faced the Jazz without forward/center Zach Collins and guard Josh Richardson . The Spurs on Tuesday also welcomed back second-year guard Josh Primo, who scored 10 points on 3 of 7 from the field in 18 minutes after he missed the first three preseason games with an injured knee.Popovich enjoyed a dinner Monday with first-year Jazz coach Will Hardy, the former Spurs and Boston Celtics assistant.
