SquidGame star Lee Jung-jae will premiere his directorial feature film debut, Hunt, at this year's Cannes Film Festival.

Lead star of the South Korean survival drama Squid Game, Lee Jung-jae, will see his directorial debut premiere at the Midnight Screening section of the Cannes Film Festival. Lee Jung-jae has been a household name in South Korea since the late 1990s, but it wasn't until he starred as Seong Gi-hun in Netflix's Squid Game that he rose to international stardom.

According to Variety, Lee will have his directorial debut as well as his feature-length film debut with the premiere of his Korean-language film Hunt at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. Lee also stars in the film alongside another South Korean acting veteran, Jung Woo-sung.
