St Patrick's Day is finally here and kicking off with a buzzing parade starting at the Old Irish Centre on Mount Pleasant.
The celebration is always a big deal in Liverpool, with an array of bars, clubs and pubs all celebrating with drinks aplenty and vibrant green outfits to match. This will be the seventh parade for the city, which really became popular back in 2015, when Declan Doolin - who was 18 at the time - turned the parade into an annual celebration.
The parade will begin at the Old Irish Centre on Mount Pleasant from 2.30pm, before moving off at 3.30pm. It will then go down Hope Street, Upper Duke Street, Berry Street, Renshaw Street, Ranelagh Street, Hannover Street and Seel Street.The parade will finish at Fitzgerald's Irish Bar on Slater Street. Along the way, there will be plenty of live music to enjoy. The Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band are set to perform, with others yet to be confirmed.
