Ministers and TD’s are set to jet off to 74 cities around the world for this year’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
This year’s programme of visits is the biggest ever organised by the Government with 36 representatives of the State travelling to 44 countries around the world. The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will visit Washington DC for the traditional St Patrick's Day visit to the White House.Meanwhile, the Tánaiste Micheál Martin will visit New York and Boston while Green Party leader Eamon Ryan will be jetting off to Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
