A female staff member was threatened with a knife during an armed robbery in Newry
The incident took place at a commercial premises in the Patrick Street area of the city at around 8am on Tuesday, January 3.
Detective Sergeant Johnston said: “At around 8am, it was reported that a man entered a shop in the area. He produced a knife and threatened a female member of staff. He made off with a sum of money on foot towards the Monaghan Street area following the incident.
