It welcomed thousands of customers over 25 years
A short carpeted staircase remembered by many Liverpool customers once led to a now loved and lost Chinese restaurant.
At one point, you could pay a fixed price to sample an array of starts, mains and desserts. For many, it was the go to place to celebrate a birthday or visit after an event in town. "A cocktail bar is just one of the outstanding features of this delightful restaurant. Experienced staff are absolutely dedicated to insuring that your visit will be a happy and memorable one."For the next 25 years, the Chinese buffet welcomed many customers from the city for lunchtime deals and evening celebrations. These images, recently rediscovered from our archives, capture the restaurants interior in the 00s.
"Which is what had drawn us in, too. For £9.95, we got the choice of a range of starters and main courses, even a dessert. All of it was tasty, steaming and plentiful. "Much better than Harry's banquet in Hogwarts – although, like magic, it kept replenishing itself throughout the evening. In all honesty, Tso's wouldn't have been my first choice. But now I've joined its long list of fans it won't be another seven years before I try it again."
