Freddie Bentley allegedly spent a night behind bars after he ‘just lost it’ after a group of men directed homophobic slurs at him
The Circle runner-up Freddie Bentley was reportedly arrested after defending himself from a group of men shouting homophobic slurs at him.
Allegedly the men referred to him as “the gay c*** from the telly”, sparking Freddie to respond and defend himself. The reality TV star went on to say that he felt “attacked” because he was on his own at the time and, as a result, “lost [his] head” and threw a drink over them."It triggered me and I just lost it,” he admitted to the newspaper. The bouncer is said to have suffered a small cut, sparking them to call the police on Freddie who then reportedly arrested him for common assault.
Confirming the ordeal, a representative for Freddie told OK! Online that "three lads shouted a string of disgusting homophobic slurs at [Freddie] at a bar."A then-20 year old Freddie was playing himself on the reality show, but the openly gay call centre worker pretended to be straight to his fellow castmates.
