Preordering the Premium Edition of Starfield lets you play early and gives you a bonus day-one story expansion:
Direct gave us some lovely gameplay info, we now have the details on what's included when preordering each edition of Starfield ahead of its September 6 release date.
Right, so there's a Standard Edition for $69.99/£69.99 which includes the base game. If you preorder the Standard Edition, you get the Old Mars skin pack with the Laser Cutter, Deep Mining Helmet, and Deep Mining pack. Then there's a Premium Edition for $99.99/£99.99 which includes the base game, the Shattered Space story expansion, five days early access, the Constellation skin pack with the Equinox Laser Rifle, Spacesuit, Helmet and Boost pack, and access to the digital artbook and soundtrack. Preordering the Premium Edition also gets you that Old Mars skin pack.
There is also a Premium Edition upgrade which lets you upgrade from the Standard Edition for $34.99/£34.99 and gives you all the extra Premium Edition items.Starfield is the first new universe in over 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
