An estimated 3.8 million women are waiting for the final PHSO report on injustice and remedy.

The chair of the Women Against State Pension Inequality campaign has indicated that the final report from the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman into ‘injustice caused by the maladministration’ of changes to the State Pension age, “is set to be released within weeks”.

Ms Madden’s comments were made following a parliamentary debate brought about by DUP MP Jim Shannon on March 12, to discuss State Pension age change compensation for millions of 1950s-born women across the UK. Top Money Stories Today Commenting on the 90-minute debate, the chair of the WASPI campaign said: “We are very grateful to Jim Shannon MP for holding this debate and to the cross-party grouping of MPs from across the country who continue to show their support for fair and fast compensation.
