STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — One person was taken into custody after former mayor Rudy Giuliani was slapped by a ShopRite worker in Charleston Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred at 3:25 p.m., inside of the South Shore-based ShopRite, located at 3010 Veterans Road West, according to an NYPD spokesperson, where a 39-year-old male store employee was arrested.
