The United States has drafted a new resolution calling for “an immediate ceasefire tied to the release of hostages.”
Stephen Flynn has demanded the UK vote for the resolution appearing before the United Nations Security Council later today calling for an "immediate ceasefire" in Gaza.
Tory Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has so far failed to call for a ceasefire, instead saying there should be a "temporary pause" which leads to a "sustainable ceasefire". “Any refusal to do so would be another tacit endorsement of the collective punishment and devastation being levelled against the Palestinian people - we have a moral and humanitarian obligation to do whatever we can to help end the bloodshed and secure a lasting peace.
