EXCLUSIVE: The SNP leader at Westminster said his was party was 'refocusing and reasserting our values' after the dramatic end to the powersharing deal with the Greens.
Stephen Flynn has warned opposition MSPs that voting for a Tory motion of no confidence in Humza Yousaf "will never be forgotten".
But the sudden ending of the powersharing deal has enraged the environmentalists - and presented opposition parties with an opportunity to bring down the SNP Government. But he has so far been rebuffed by Labour and the Lib Dems who are calling for him to resign and for a Holyrood election. He said: "The most important question I think most people actually want to understand is why this serious decision was needed and why it was taken.
"A politics that doesn’t speak to, and act on, these priorities is a politics that risks becoming distant from the very lives of the people it is there to serve.
