'Mambo No. 5' will forever be one of the most enduring one-hit wonders of modern music - but it seems that some of us were more enamoured with Lou Bega's 1999 hit than others.
King claimed that he played Bega's hit - which sampled Cuban musician Perez Prado's 1949 of the same name - so much, that his wife threatened to divorce him if he didn't stop. "My wife threatened to divorce me," he said."I played that a lot, I had the dance mix. I loved those extended play things, and I played both sides of it. And one of them was just total instrumental."
