Steve Martin gets an invite on Jeopardy! after he congratulates look-alike winning contestant
Martin's super smart mirror image is also guaranteed a spot in the 2022 Tournament of Champions.
Will he split the prize? Buttery, who shares an uncanny resemblance to the actor, recently took home a $100,000 prize for winning the inaugural 2021 Professors Tournament Another one joked that Buttery was actually Martin, writing, 'Wait, wait, WAIT A MINUTE- Hold on a sec., Steve Martin & Sam Buttrey have never been seen ‘together’, in the same place at the same time… there’s no prize money ‘splitting’ about to happen?! WE’VE BEEN HAD!!'
Will he accept? The trivia show quickly jumped on the opportunity to have Martin participate, warmly Tweeting, 'We would love to have you on Jeopardy! anytime, in any capacity!'
