Stockport County have been promoted to League One
Thousands of fans are set to line the streets of Stockport this afternoon for a trophy parade after a historic season for the town's football club.
A huge parade will be going through Stockport today in celebration. Players and staff will be attending a private civic reception in Stockport Town Hall before the parade starts at 3pm from the Town Hall.The route will then Edward Street, before going across the A6 and slowly making its way down Greek Street and then on to Mercian Way. The bus will then turn on to Hardcastle Road, before returning to Edgeley Park at around 3.40pm.
