Gardaí apprehended a suspect on Manor Place
A man has been arrested after up to four people were stabbed in a series of seemingly random attacks on Sunday afternoon in Dublin’s Stoneybatter area.

Photograph: Conor PopeSources say gardaí have no reason to suspect the attacks were linked to terrorism. None of the injuries suffered by the victims are believed to be life threatening.
In a statement, gardaí confirmed a man has been arrested in relation to the incident. “There is no ongoing risk to the public at this time,” it said.It is believed the stabbings happened across three locations on the North Circular Road, Oxmantown Road and Ben Eadair Road.Gardaí are going door-to-door to interview residents and get access to doorbell or mobile phone footage of the attacks.
